Artist Statement
Painting has an expression that is actually the painter’s, illuminating his /her attitude toward life. While I paint, I sense this world, murmur calmly, bit by bit through my brush; I paint, I exist, then I’m happy.
Every piece of my work is a child of my interaction with the world. If world gives me pain, I will bear an elegant but simple child; if it gives me a sudden happiness or strong love, I will bear a premature child with a gentle warm fragrance; if it gives me an even temperature as long as time, I will bear an eternal child, whose name will be Blessing.
Small
worms. We
are all small worms running on a one-way road. One comes, and one goes.
Someone may struggle all his life to feed his family, or someone may surrender
his life for his country. But even a small, worm has a life. No matter how big
this world is, every life is equal. A worm has its
own world and goal.
